Mental strength is not the ability to stay out of the darkness. It’s the ability to sit present in the darkness knowing the light will shine again.
Trauma-informed therapy for the body, mind, and spirit — specializing in EMDR and somatic work with women and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community recovering from trauma.
Healing from trauma isn't just about talking through what happened — it's about releasing what your body has been holding, quieting a nervous system that's stayed on high alert, and reconnecting with a sense of meaning. Using EMDR, somatic therapy, and spiritually-integrated approaches, I help people recovering from trauma move through what's unresolved and reclaim their vital energy. I also work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety and life transitions.

Counseling Approaches
My work integrates four approaches that address trauma at every level — body, mind, and spirit.
-
Humanistic therapy honors the entire individual rather than focusing on isolated symptoms or challenges. Grounded in the understanding that every person possesses inherent worth, this client-centered model highlights your natural strengths and inner wisdom to foster deep personal transformation. I view our therapeutic connection as a partnership between equals, where you remain the true expert on your own life while I gently facilitate your path toward self-actualization and wellness.
-
Transpersonal therapy takes a holistic approach that emphasizes spirituality, addressing mental, physical, emotional, creative, and intellectual needs to facilitate healing and growth. It allows clients to share their spiritual background, awareness, or questions, and to integrate this into self-exploration — through meditation, guided visualization, and dreamwork.
-
EMDR offers a structured path to help your brain process deeply embedded, unreleased memories. By easing the emotional weight these lingering experiences carry, EMDR reduces their impact on your present life — allowing you to move through past pain without having to recount every detail in talk therapy. I received my formal EMDR training through an EMDRIA-approved program in March 2026.
-
Trauma resides within physical sensations just as deeply as in mental thought patterns. By tuning into breath, bodily awareness, and nervous system responses, somatic therapy helps discharge stored stress that traditional dialogue cannot fully address — gently restoring a felt sense of safety and balance within yourself.
Testimonials
My work with Sienna was incredibly transformative. She saw me through a number of major changes, equipping me with the tools to manage life's challenges while showing me how to give grace to myself in the process. She was deeply intuitive, compassionate, and responsive to my needs, which were ever-changing -- she was there for every twist and turn without judgment. That sense of trust was a great relief for me, allowing me to bring my entire self to every session, in all of its messy complexities. I am so grateful for Sienna and the peace she helped me find within myself.

I met Sienna in all women’s business course and I had the honour meet with her at a personal level. Sienna’s intuition and deep listening skills were part of her even before she became a therapist. I strongly recommend her.”
